Si-Chef

Si-Chef is the AI chef inside your Eighty-Six CRM. It knows the restaurant you are signed into — the bookings, the room, the menus, the stock, the sales, the dynamic links — and answers from your live data. Ask a question and it checks; ask for a change and it prepares it, then waits for your approval before applying anything.

If you can click it in the CRM, you can ask Si-Chef to do it for you.

Open Si-Chef and you get a chat page with your conversation history: the open thread in the centre, your past conversations in the list beside it. Type in your own words — the way you would ask a colleague — and Si-Chef answers with what is really in your restaurant.

It understands and replies in the language you write. If you manage more than one restaurant, it always works on the one you have selected in the switcher, at the top of the sidebar.

The chat is the page: ask in plain language, with your conversation history one tap away.

Si-Chef splits its work into three kinds of answers:

  • Checks — questions it answers straight away from your live data: today’s bookings, covers and availability, tables, menus and prices, ingredients and stock, best-selling items, where a dynamic link points, and more.
  • Changes — edits it prepares for you: creating a booking, moving or cancelling one, adding a dish or updating its price, changing a link destination. Every change is a proposal you approve first.
  • How-to answers — questions about how to do something in the CRM, answered from this documentation with a link to the right page.

For the full list of areas and example questions, see What Si-Chef can do.

Si-Chef is also a guide to the platform itself. Ask how to do something — “How do I add a time slot?”, “Come carico una foto del piatto?” — and it answers from this documentation, linking the page it used so you can read the rest. Write in Italian or English; it searches both.

If the manual does not cover the topic, Si-Chef says so and offers to hand the conversation to a person.

Nothing in your restaurant changes without you. A change goes through the same four steps every time:

  1. You ask. Say what you want to change and for which restaurant, for example: “Move the Rossi booking on Saturday from 8pm to 9pm.”
  2. Si-Chef prepares it. It looks up the booking, checks it can be moved and puts together the change. If something does not fit — a full slot, an unknown dish — it tells you instead of guessing.
  3. You review the proposal. A card appears in the chat with a summary and the before-and-after rows, so you see exactly what will change.
  4. You approve once. Tap Approve and the change is applied, exactly once. Tap Reject and nothing happens. Si-Chef confirms when the change is done.

Every change arrives as a proposal: review the rows, then Approve or Reject.

Si-Chef is not a wall between you and the team. When you would rather talk to a person — or when something needs a human — say so in the chat. Si-Chef steps aside and the conversation is handed over to the Eighty-Six support team. A person replies in the same thread, with all the context already there.

When you want Si-Chef back, ask it to resume. Your conversation continues from where it paused.

  • One Organization only. Si-Chef answers for the Organization you are signed into, and for the restaurant you have selected. It cannot see other restaurants or other customers.
  • Your permissions apply. Si-Chef works within your account’s permissions. It never gives you access you do not have in the CRM.
  • No silent edits. Changes are applied only after you approve them — and only once.
  • History stays in your chat. Conversations are stored with your Organization’s support history, the same place your support threads live.
  • Name the restaurant when you manage several, so there is no doubt about where the change lands.
  • Be specific with dates and times — “Saturday 12 September, 8:30pm” beats “this weekend”.
  • One change at a time. Approving one clear proposal is faster than untangling five at once.
  • Ask it to check first. “Can we move that booking to 9pm?” gives you the answer before you commit to a change.
  • Ask how-to questions too. “How do I publish my booking page?” comes back with the answer and a link to the page in this manual.
  • Ask in your language. Write in Italian, English, or whichever language your team uses — the answer comes back in the same one.
